Safe, comfortable hotel in central Belfast with secure parking

We will be in Belfast in May, and since we will be driving a rental car it is important to us to have secure parking at our hotel. We'd like to be walking distance from the Opera House & The Crown Saloon. Any suggestions?

The Europa Hotel is right next to the Opera House. Why not stay there? A Jury's Inn and a Travel Lodge are also within walking distance. Check Tripadvisor for reviews. Belfast is a walking city. Was there a few weeks ago. Definitely visit the Titanic Museum as well as Shankill Road and the Peace Wall. We had our cabbie, Junior, take us following a visit to the Crumlin Road Gaol (Prison.) A visit to St. George's market is pleasurable and I recommend a sweet little cafe called Printers on Donegall street for breakfast or lunch. Had been located elsewhere and recently moved to these new digs. Also recommend a visit to St. Anne's cathedral. As far as pubs the Duke of York is great fun but my favorite was The Spaniard. Small and charming. Perfect spot for a pint and some tapas after sightseeing. Check what is on at the MAC. http://themaclive.com Found it by chance. Had a coffee there. Free Wifi. It's in St. Anne Square in the Cathedral quarter. Sawer's Ltd store is a great shop to explore. The Grumpy Mule Coffee came home with me. If you love seafood you MUST dine at Mourne's Seafood Bar on Bank Street next to Kelly's Cellars Pub. Have the cabbie drop you at St. Mary's church (look at the grotto) Construction is taking place (though might be done by May) and it's a bit difficult for a cabbie to get to. Absolutely the best seafood chowder I have had anywhere! And their fresh mussels. Ate there 3 times!!! http://www.mourneseafood.com Had been 15 years since I'd been in Belfast. To say it is a revitalized city is an understatement. Enjoy your stay.

My pleasure. The botanic garden and the Palm House should be lovely in May. Have a wonderful trip.
