We'll be in London Dec. 27-Jan 3 and would love to go to a rugby or soccer game. Travel agent said the only tickets she has access to are those that are Club Level type seats at $650 per ticket for Chelsea vs. Liverpool, for example. Too pricey for 5 of us! She suggested going online to search for tickets, but I've also been warned that many of the online sellers aren't reputable. Any suggestions? Thanks

Harlequins play Exeter in the Premiership on 28 Dec at Twickenham Stoop. Tickets not yet on sale but will be from the club in advance. For resellers, stick to the official club partners. Most clubs have them.

I think your travel agent may only have heard of Chelsea whose prices are indeed sky high. There are other Premiership teams in London and a couple of other London teams are playing at home while you are in town. A good match in East London on 28th December is West Ham v West Brom ( a team from Birmingham). On New Years Day in South East London is a game between Crystal Palace and Norwich . It isn't between two glamorous teams but the atmosphere will be good over the holidays. In both cases you could possibly e-mail the clubs direct. I found both on their own websites. They might be flattered by interest from California. You could probably buy Crystal Palace for $650 dollars! Good luck.
