Has anyone else stayed at the Royal York Hotel, in York?

YES! We always stay at the Royal York when we are in York. It is a nice hotel, has a lovley small garden and it attached to the train station. It is only a short walk from the center of town. The last time we were there (about 3 years ago) they were renovating most of the rooms. I have posted reviews (with pics) on tripadvisor (I'm worldtravelfreek). Once we were upgraded to their special suite- WOW! 2 bathrooms, super large (even compaired to American HOtels), great bed! But even the regular rooms are very good.
