We are picking up our new Volvo late june, and driving across Sweden to see the country. I have most of the trip planned to be in Stockholm and Gothenberg, but 1 night on the road is a toss up between Granna and Linkoping. Anyone been to either, with a suggestion?

We did the same thing several years ago. I am not familiar with the 2 cities mentioned, but we had a delightful time in Kalmar. Stopping off in the crystal region was very enjoyable. Enjoy your time in Gothenberg. Volvo treated us so well.

We won't really hit the "crystal area", intead getting 3 nights in Gothenburg (as current volvo owners), 3 nights in Stockholm, and 2 in the lake regions. Kind of staying mid country, because after dropping off the car, we'll do the Norway in a Nutshell tour and spend 3 nights in Norway. All of this being said, any suggestions in these places?
