River Cruise to Tower of London

Does anyone know if there is a River Cruise that we could take early in the morning to get to the Tower of London? Thought this might be a nice way to combine two, To Do items on our list but we want to go early. Also, I think the entrance to the Tower is quite close to the Pier? I think.

I've seen Thames Clippers at the Tower Pier (fifty yards from Tower entrance). They have a ho/ho deal. End of knowledge.

I took one of the cruises from Westminster to Greenwich in March and there was a stop at the Tower. Here's a good website to get you started with schedules and routes: http://www.tfl.gov.uk/modalpages/2648.aspx If you have a week's Oyster pass, show that for a discount. We walked up and bought tickets on the next boat. I don't think it's a long walk to the Tower from the pier (just follow everyone else). There will be quite a lot of walking in the Tower, though, if that's your concern.

Shelley The Tower opens at 9.00 most days and 10.00 Sunday and Monday. You don't say where you want to start, but there is a boat from Embankment at 8.28 which gets to the Tower at 8.48. The full timetable is here http://www.tfl.gov.uk/assets/downloads/river-tt-rb1-woolwich-arsenal-embankment.pdf Alternatively you can do longer and more expensive cruises with a commentary. The commentary are usually informative and often very funny. I've not done this myself for ages but City Cruises get a good write up on Trip Advisor. http://www.citycruises.com/ Alan
