Can anyone tell me why Rick's pdf maps for Louvre, Versailles etc. won't work on my IPod Touch after I have down loaded them. I can get the audio tours and ones with pictures fine. I assumed a pdf map was a map of the museum. They download but won't open. I downloaded a pdf app. thinking it would work and doesn't. Thank you!

The following is taken from the Rick Steves website:
"How can I use the Audio Tour Companion Maps?
You can download a PDF file companion map for each audio tour. Once the PDF file is on your computer, simply open it, print your map, and take it along."

It would seem that the PDF files were not originally meant to be accessed from an iPod. However, if you convert the file to a JPEG or JPG, you can then sync it to your iPod, and access it using the iPod "Photos" button.
