Restaurant With a View of the Thames

Does anyone know of a nice restaurant with a view of the Thames. It needs to be indoor since we are going to be in London mid. Feb.

Paul You don't say what you're budget is, so a couple that straddle the range. The oxo tower is nice but pricey http://www.harveynichols.com/restaurants/oxo-tower-london/oxo-tower-london-restaurant There is also a pizza express at 24 New Globe Walk which is reasonably priced, central and has good views from the second floor. http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?um=1&ie=UTF-8&q=pizza+thames+globe&fb=1&gl=uk&hq=pizza+thames+globe&ei=kdEIT_-1NYTj8APJypDNAQ&sa=X&oi=local_group&ct=image&ved=0CAYQtgM&iwloc=cids:1702438216411097349 I'm assuming you are talking about somewhere central. If you are prepared to go down to Richmond or up to Rotherhithe then you have other options. Cheers Alan

Rebecca I've never eaten in the Gaucho but can vouch for it's position. I was actually thinking of the White Cross, close to Richmond Bridge http://thewhitecrossrichmond.com/ If you fancy a bit of a river walk the White Swan is also reliable http://whiteswantwickenham.com/ Finally, for the sake of completeness, this is a good general guide to pubs right along the river. http://www.timeout.com/london/bars/features/5112/London-s_best_riverside_pubs_and_bars.html I'm a particular fan of the Mayflower in Rotherhithe and, in Dicken's centenary year, the London Apprentice (which is fairly close to Richmond.) Ah, roll on summer! Alan

The "Founders Arms" pub by Blackfriars Bridge has good value food and a great view of the river. (Don't expect olde worlde, though, it's a modern building.)
