Restaurant Suggestions for Dublin and Galway

For traditional Irish food a pub is probably your best bet. But all restaurants and pubs will have the menu posted outside, so you can stroll around and find a place with a menu and an atmosphere you liked. We went to a place in galway that was excellent. I don't remember the name but it was on Quay Street across from the bar named The Quays. It was upstairs. The locals go there a lot. Sorry, that's probably not that helpful :) We were in a yarn shop on Quay street and the owner told us about the place.

Gotham Cafe off of Grafton Street has some really good pizzas. It's a small place, and fills up quick so either get there early, or be prepared to wait...
