Recommendations for a private guide in South Wales?

My boyfriend and I are traveling to the UK in October, and spending part of the time in South Wales - in Cardiff for a couple of nights, and in or around Carmarthen for a couple of nights, as I spent a semester at the college there during my undergrad days and want to revisit the old stomping grounds a bit.

I'm looking at hiring private guides for two trips - a day trip out of Cardiff and a couple of days later, a day trip around the western part of South Wales. Does anyone have experience with or know of anyone in the area? Thanks.

Replying to myself after many moons in order to recommend the guide we ended up hiring for two days of driving around south Wales, Stephen Griffin of Griffin Guiding. Absolutely fantastic, and showed us all sorts of things we'd never have found if we'd been trying to do this on our own.
