Recent experiences of musical pub crawl in Dublin?

My husband and I did this ten years ago, and want to do it again with our now-adult kids on our upcoming trip in June. We remember it as being really fun. Has anyone done it more recently, and have you also had a good experience? Also, the www.musicalpubcrawl.com site reverts to a site called "Discover Dublin," and the time says it begins at 7:00pm, not 7:30. I just want to be sure this is the same musical pub crawl before booking it, since it's on a different website, and is at a different time. Maybe it's the same, and that's when you're supposed to show up? If anyone can confirm this, that would be great! Also, any favorite things to do the second time around - beyond the more "typical" Book of Kells, Trinity College, etc.? Thanks.

Wendy - Our family did a literary pub crawl in Dublin last year. It was very enjoyable.

I went this past March, but as it was off season I didn't pre-book my ticket and just went to Oliver St John Gogarty's. It was just as much fun as the first time I went four years ago, so I do definitely recommend it. Especially talk to the musicians about other places to go for live music, I got some great recommendations about much less touristy pubs.
