Ready for a pint in the local Pub

In September, I've got a week of hiking planned in the Dingle Peninsula, then finishing up with 2 days in Dublin at the end of the trip. I was thinking traveling north and visiting Galway for a few days in between. Good itinerary? Of course will be using the RS Ireland guide for 2012.

What's the question? To visit Galway after hiking in Dingle and before going to Dublin. Why not? McSwiggans has good pints.
