RailAir - Heathrow to Reading

This option was suggested to me as opposed to going to Reading via Paddington Station. Is it necessary to purchase a bus and rail ticket to get from Terminal 5 to Reading?

Also, if I purchase online it asks for a particualar time. How can I best figure the time to select since arrival time and customs are never certain? If I choose a certain time and miss it, will my ticket still be honored?

This option seems to make the most sense to me considering time and cost.

Any thoughts? Thank you!

The RailAir site says that you do not have to continue on by train after you arrive in Reading. All you need is a bus ticket.

I just did a dummy booking on the site. I was asked to enter a travel date, but there wasn't even a place to enter a departure time. In fact, the FAQs on the site say that because of the possibility of flight delays, customers prefer not to reserve seats.

OK - I guess I am the "dummy" here! I must have misread something.

I can pick up the train to Reading right in Heathrow then? I do not need to take a bus at Heathrow to get to the train?

Then when I get to Reading...I can purchase my ticket to go on to Henley?

Thank you (again) for your help.

Sorry, but I'm the confused one. Since you didn't say that you were going somewhere beyond Reading by train, I thought that was your final destination.

To be explicit, RailAir is a dedicated bus service between Heathrow and the Reading train station. Buy your train ticket to Henley when you get to Reading and jump on the next train.
