Rail Schedules for Britain

I posted a question about travel from Norwich to somewhere in Scotland under 'Where to go, what to see', and realize that as I plan to go by rail and or coach (bus), the route will be a bit complex. I can't remember the site that I used to research routes and connections. Can anyone, please, refresh my memory?

Thanks! I also seem to remember that there was a site that would combine rail/bus/ferry options. Anyone?
