Rabbie's Tours in England (they also have tours elsewhere)

anyone familiar with this company? Still trying to plan a trip to Cornwall w/o a car, and I've seen some positive reviews for this company, which has a five-day trip. You basically pay for being transported, but pay for own meals and hotels. Sounds like a good solution for someone not liking too much regimentation. Also, small minibus - not more than 16 people. anyone have feedback for me?

Laura, The company started in Scotland. (Rabbie is a Scottish nickname for RobertRabbie Burns you know!) Many people on the Helpline have used them and I don't think that there has been a negative posting. When you read their site they sound like their going after the same audience that Rick Steves doessmall groups, off the beaten track, time off the bus, time with locals, active. Take a look at the TripAdvisor feedback on tours out of Edinburgh. http://www.tripadvisor.com/Attraction_Review-g186525-d654641-Reviews-Rabbie_s_Trail_Burners_Day_Tours-Edinburgh_Scotland.html Pam
