"Coffee Shops" in Amsterdam airport?

This may be a silly question, but I will have a looooong layover in the Amersterdam airport in August - and I was wondering if they allow marajuna in the coffee shops in the airport?

Smoking is only permitted is special tiny smoking rooms, scattered throughout the terminal. Marajuna is not sold inside the airport, nor is it advisable to transport it over international borders aboard an aircraft;) At my last visit to Schipol in May, Customs officer were walking around the terminal with money sniffing dogs doing random inspections of outgoing travelers carry-ons. Although they claim these dogs are just looking for bundles of cash, I suspect they are trained to sniff other contraband as well.

Nicole ,, how long is layover,, more then 7 or 8 hours? Perhaps you could go into Amsterdam,, taxi it,, it would be expensive I guess, I don't know the logistics, but as I asked, is the layover long enough?

I think I heard that they're only allowing locals into those particular 'coffee shops', but I don't recall when that policy begins.
If you have a really long layover, you can get into Amsterdam by train quite easily and quickly, the station is at the heart of the city.

They have a Rijksmuseum display in the airport that is worth visiting, and free.
