Please share with me your experiences on these pony treks in the Connemara area. I am thinking 6 days may be a little too much physically. However, I am curious if anyone love horses as much as me and did a 3 day trek or even took 2 or 3 days in a row to ride to different parts of this area (i.e. along the coast one day, then in the National Park another). If so, please let me know which city you started from and which equestrian center you liked and why. I would like to take a trek with both the coast and the national park and just stay at my B&B in the evenings. It seems May may be a little too nippy for a coastal ride but I am pretty tough.
