When we went to Italy, we downloaded onto ipods info about sites like the forum. Is there anything like that for Ireland? Where do I find it on the site?
Try http://www.discoverireland.ie/Dublin-culture/Walking-and-cultural-tours.aspx This will probably have something you can use.
We did the same thing last year for Italy. Anything like that for Scotland? I can't seem to find anything.
Thanks
Bev (3weeks and counting :) )
I think they are called podcast. But I don't see them on the site. Can anyone help?
Check the Rick on Radio tab at the top of the page. At the bottom of the resulting page is a link to podcast archives. All of the podcasts are available through iTunes Store, as well. There are several podcasts about Ireland (and Scotland, as well).
www.visitdublin.com/iwalk or just do a google search for -Irish tourism dublin-podcasts
I believe that Corey and Liam have some pod casts available on Irishfireside.com Not sure if that is the exact web sight, but should come up on google. Dan
Yes! Irishfireside.com is the correct website, and the podcasts are good. Many of them are more what I would call "local color" rather than guidebook-like, though. Lots of interviews, videos, and some good tips about travel in Ireland.
