I appreciate all the help from everyone throughout my travel planning, but I would like to know if anyone can recommend a B&B's in our last two stops? We will be in Kilkenny for one night and then Dun Laoghaire for 2-3 nights.
Thanks in advance!

Hi Jill,
I just got back from Ireland August 6th. I stayed at the Ferry House in Dun Laoghaire for 3 nights. The rooms are nice, 40 euros per person and it is only a short walk to the harbor. There is a park right on the corner, 2 bus stops within a 4 minute walk and the DART is a 7 minute walk. Pauline is wonderful, helpful with info and knowledge of the area. The food at the Pubs is excellent (don't miss Walter's).
In May, my wife and I spent 4 lovely nights at Ophira House in Dun Laoghaire. John and Cathy could not have been more welcoming. Our GPS went on the fritz, and needed to be rebooted. So they lent us their laptop!
It's about a 5 minute walk to the train station. Prices are reasonable.
Dun Laoghaire is a great base for exploring the Dublin area.
Enjoy your trip!
We stayed at Butler House ( originally part of the castle) when we were in Kilkenny. It wasn't inexpensive but it was fun to stay in an historic place and it was very close to the castle. You might want to consider it for one night.
We stayed at Lawlor's guesthouse last time and although it was the night before the big game and rowdy, enjoyed it very much.
