We will probably be leaving Derry about 2pm on a Friday & plan on spending the night in Donegal town on Saturday. We'd like to see Grianan of Aileach (about 10 minutes out of Derry, I understand) and then see some of the Glenveagh National Park before stopping for the Friday night. Saturday will be Slieve League & stay in Donegal. Any suggestions of where to stay on Friday night??? Thanks!

We stayed five nights at Rossmore Manor in April, 2012. The room was large, we had a view of the bay, the owner was quite friendly, the breakfast was good. Highly recommended. http://www.rossmoremanor.com/

Thanks, Cynthia! I checked out their website & they look ideal for our Donegal town night. We'll probably stay nearer the Nat'l Park on Friday night (maybe Letterkenny?) & head for Rossmore for Saturday night.
