We are landing in Oslo and plan to start our drive over to Bergen. We thought we would spend the night somewhere between the two cities. Any suggestions?

Try the Fjordtell at Gudvangen, It's on Sognefjorden between Voss and Stallheim. The small hotel is a Viking motif in a round shape with skylights that allow you to see the high waterfalls from your bed. When the boat crowds leave by dinner you have the gorgeous fjord almost to yourself. Depending on your flight it may be too far to reach in the same day.
