Are Pictish stones scattered throughout the country? Can you suggest a location near St. Andrews, perhaps?

I chase rocks. It's one on my many sicknesses.
Thanks for the plug for the megalithic portal Ed. Bat400, the North American editor, is my wife.
There is also a great book on archaeology in the UK from Penguin. Oops I am wrong, it is from Oxford University Press. It's The Oxford Archaeological Guides, Scotland by Anna and Graham Ritchie. It's one of my favorite resources. Pam
If you're heading into the Highlands, Dunrobin Castle north of Inverness has a museum on its grounds that features a large collection of Pictish Stones. We will be spending a day there looking at the grounds and castle, but especially those stones. Check out its page at UndiscoveredScotland.com.
