Won't be there until September, but plan to stay in the town of Trim per Rick's recommendation in his Ireland 2013 book. 30 miles outside Dublin.

I can highly recommend Killyon Guesthouse in Navan. It's on the N3 that runs right to the airport. It has won several awards, and the breakfast room overlooks the Boyne River. They have a website, www.killyonguesthouse.ie. What direction will you be coming from?

It's not a B and B, but we enjoyed the D hotel in Drogheda. If you arrive there earlier in the day, you might be able to stop at nearby New Grange. From Drogheda, it's a very easy 20 mile drive to Dublin airport.

We just stayed for three nights at Crannmor (www.crannmor.com) in Trim and it was really, really nice. Anne and Marc are terrific hosts; the house is lovely; rooms beautifully decorated. There are rooms on the first floor as well; perfect for persons with disability issues. One of the rooms even has a wheelchair-accessible shower! The drive to Dublin Airport is easy - takes about 40-45 minutes. You can't miss with this one!
