Picking up reserved train tickets ahead of time?

We are in London for a few days before taking the train (East Coast Express) to Edinburgh. Can I pick up our reserved tickets anytime at any station (i.e. Paddington or Victoria) instead of Kings Cross? I'll have the confirmation number and credit card used and will try the self service machine first. Also, since I booked discounted one way fares - can I pick up our tickets from Edinburgh back to London then as well, or do I have to wait until we are in Edinburgh? Thanks!

I have the same question. If I am travelling from Euston Station, but staying in a B&B near Paddington, do I have to travel over to Euston to pick up my ticket rather than just getting the ticket at Paddington when I arrive there on the Heathrow Express?

Sorry, should have been a little clearer with the above: I arrive on a Wednesday at Paddington, then travel onward on Friday from Euston Station. It would just be a bit more convenient if I didn't have to travel over to Euston Station earlier to pick up my ticket.

You can pick up your tickets at any train station in London(Paddington or Victoria are fine). You will need your reservation number (I print the reservations) and the credit card you used to make the reservation in the first place. You can get your Edinburgh/London ticket there as well.
I just go up to a ticket agent as sometmes you can have trouble with the machines and I feel more secure in dealing with an agent. Have done this lots of times and never had a problem.

Hope you have a lovely trip.
