What is the cheapest & easiest (without having to schlep luggage up and down stairs) way to get to Dover from the Piccadilly area?

Two ways:
1) Take a cab to St. Pancras rail station and get a train from there. The train, if you take one that doesn't require a change, takes a little over an hour.
2) Take a cab to Victoria Coach station and take a bus from there. The bus is just under 2 1/2 hours.
Taking the tube to either station will require going up and down steps.

Not knowing what tube station you will be close to....but this is one way if you are close to Piccadilly Circle tube station (they have escalators) you would take the Piccadilly line (direction Cockfoster) to Kings Cross St Pancras (escalators)..it's the fifth stop. The train to Dover leaves from St. Pancras.
