Phone Service in England

It was suggested I get a "pay as you go" phone from the Car Phone Warehouse. Does anyone have any information about this? Where can I get one? What is the cost? I will be using public transportation traveling in the Heathrow > Reading > Henley area so I am not very flexible getting around. Thank you!

CPW will sell you a phone with £10 of talk time for about £15 GBP. Talk to the store assistant about your calling requirements so that you can get the best PAYG plan for you. You can get some very good deals for calling the US eg 5 pence per minute.
