Hi all, can anyone suggest a phone card to use in London to call the US. Is there one card I can use from public phones and hotel phones? Thank you

I buy from a newsagent and go with whatever the sales clerk recommends for phoning back to the US. £5 has given me more than enough minutes for a 10 day London stay, but I am not a big talker. Get a card that requires you to scratch off a pin number and phone a toll free number. Check with your hotel before using it there, they may charge you outrageous fees for phoning a toll free number. They may also waive the usual fee if you ask nicely. My hotel agreed to charge me £1 per outgoing toll free call.
