Penzance

I will be in Penzance for a week in May. Harry Safari tours are no longer operating. Any ideas for tours. I will not have a car there.

We took the lpcal bus to Mousehole and had a great lunch and stroll through the little village. Also from Mousehole (and probably from Penzance) you can walk out into the countryside. I have found some interesting places just taking a local bus to the end of the line

Figure out a way to get out to the Minack for a perfromance one evening - - it's probably not more than ten miles or so.

Lands End and Tintagel (the castle not the annexed village) are awesome sites if you can get transportation.
Lands End does have a great feel about it. Looe and St Ives are popular coastal villages

Public transport will get you to lots of places of interest from Penzance. St.Michaels Mont (a must), St. Ives and I think I remember seeing a bus to Lands End. Agree with Ed. Try to arrange a performance at the Minnack theatre. Google the local tourist authority for names of other tour providers in the area.
