My fiance and I will be going to the south and west of Ireland, leaving October 12. I understand the temperatures to average about 10 degrees.
Any tips/tricks for clothing to pack (besides the obvious: rain gear)?

The weather in Ireland can change quickly, so layering is your best bet no matter what the season. In addition to rain gear, just wear whatever you would wear at home at those temperatures.

Also make sure you have a pair of sturdy, comfortable shoes
