Overnight trip from Copenhagen

Looking for some advice. I'm planning a day trip from Copenhagen to Sweden and spending 1 night in Sweden. Go to Lund in the morning/early afternoon, then head to Malmo in late afternoon, beach sauna and night-life. Is Malmo night-life worth overnight or should we head back to Copenhagen? Thanks.
