We are going to Dublin in July for a week and we would like to visit Blarney Castle on a day trip. Neither of us have ever been to Ireland before so I'm wanting to know what is the best way to get to Blarney Castle for a day trip out of Dublin? Any tour company recommendations?

The difference between Ireland and the U.S.? In America a hundred years is a long time. In Ireland, a hundred miles is a long way. Blarney is better than 150 miles (about three and a half hours according to via michelin) each way. I don't expect you will find a day trip tour run from Dublin (although Bus Eirenn runs one from Cork). IMO it's out of range for a day trip. If you have your heart set on it, consider renting a car for the day and driving.
