Online travel cards qualify for the 2 for 1 attraction discount in London?

Has anyone recently ordered Travel Cards online from the "visitbritaindirect" websites been able to use these to qualify for the 2 for 1 discounts at London attractions? I am trying to avoid making a special trip to purchase my travel cards from a rail station while in London. It appears that you still get a paper travel card with the national rail logo, so I am assuming we will qualify for the 2 for 1 deals. Would like to hear firsthand from anyone that purchased their tickets online. Thanks

If you bought your travel pass loaded on an Oyster Card ie issued by Transport for London then answer is no. To qualify you must buy a travelcard issued by a National rail company. This is because they are the ones sponsoring the deals.
