One way car rental: Rosslare Ferry Port to Dublin area

I could use some help with this one. I've searched on several car hire sites and can't seem to get a quote for a one way rental from Rosslare to anywhere in the Dublin area (I'd prefer Dun Laoghaire). We are headed to Cork, then Cashel, then to Dublin area. This is for travel in December. Does anyone know what car rental agencies will do a one way rental from these 2 places?

I just realized I wasn't very clear, so I'm also going to edit my original post. We are heading to Cork, then Cashel and then Dun Laoghaire so the train doesn't work. But thanks for the idea.

I'm not sure I understand the problem. I have rented on one side of the country and dropped off on the other a couple of times with no trouble. I can't imagine what rental company WOULDN'T allow that if they have a car available and an office in Dublin. I know for a fact that with Dan Dooley you can rent at the Rosslare port and drop off at the Dun Laoghaire port. I'm sure there are others, as well. Auto Europe shows lots of choices for Rosslare to Dublin. Google "car rental Rosslare Ireland" and you'll get a whole list of rental places.

thanks, I have googled car rental Rosslare Ireland & the companies I come up with don't seem to give me the option for a one way rental. Maybe it's time to email them for more details.

On a couple of the sites I looked at you have to check a little box labeled "different dropoff location" or something similar. It was right under the pickup location box. Then it gives you an additional box to fill in the dropoff location you want. As I said, I just looked at rentals from Dan Dooley and those listed through Auto Europe, so I know it's possible.
