ill be staying in London for one night on my way to the United States looking for inexpensive hotel near the gatwick airport, safe area, does anybody have any ideas?

If you will arrive in London early enough to do a bit of sightseeing, I suggest that you enjoy an evening in the city, spend the night, and take an early morning Southern train from Victoria station to Gatwick. There are lots of B&Bs within easy walking distance of Victoria.

IF you want to stay at Gatwick, why not stay IN Gatwick Airport.....
Yotel
You literally reserve the number of hours you need rather than pay for a full night.

B & B's are "Bed & Breakfasts." A type of accomodation.
So, is the room at Gatwick for your WOOFing friend?

B&B = Bed & Breakfast, a place, often family owned, that provides lodging plus a full breakfast.

oh that sounds nice! but the yotel in the gatwick airport is perfect! i would of never knew there was a hotel right there!
