Going to be traveling home through Reykjavik in August and will only have one full day there. Would love some advice on a great way to spend the day!

Have a look at the tourist info for tours and pickup from airport. You'll easily fit in something good of you have a day - it's all so different. People are lovely. Icelandic gastronomic specialities are an acquired taste I think - but worth giving them a go ... Pity you haven't longer there, it's a great place.
