I know it's not the most beautiful street, but it is very close to 2 tube stations (archway and another one I forget) anyone know about this area? Thanks again!!
Islington is an acceptable choice; At one time it seemed to be becoming an increasingly gentrified area; You really must be "tbbe accessible" which it is. As I recall it does have some interesting antique stores and a weekly market. My wife and I have done some walking in that area, with no awkward feeling. You actually can walk to the West End if the weather is good
Thanks Brian!
<<cheeky alert>> ...as long as you don't wind up with the "women in Holloway" ... <<<end cheeky alert>>> ((captions and footnote department: ... Holloway Womens Prison))
Kris sorry but again I think this is an advertiser being economical with the truth. Yes the property is in the London Borough of Islington but it is 3 miles distance from Islington High Street and is in the Holloway area of the Borough. As with most cities each area has its good (expensive) and not so good parts. If a property is advertised as being in Islington and is cheap, it is cheap for a reason. That being said the transport connections in to Central London will be good.
Thanks for the replies, I'm aware that it's not in the fancier area of "Islington" but as long as it's safe enough we are ok with that, we don't need posh :) However I don't want to be mugged heading home from the tube!
