Does anyone know of and medical or science museums in London? Also do you know of any shops with antique medical or scientific equipment or supplies? I know about the Science Museum and the Old Operating Theatre already. Any others?
Gallton Collection at the University College London. By appointment only. The Hunterian Museum at the Royal College of Surgeons in Lincoln's Inn Fields over by the St. John Sloane's Msueum, Royal College of Physicians Museum, St. Bartholomew's Hospital Museum. If you can train to Cambridge the Whipple Museum of the History of Science. It's free and open limited hours on week days.
Haven't visited it yet, but I really want to see the Chelsea Physic Garden. It was started by monks who served as physicians before there really were such. www.chelseaphysicgarden.co.uk/ You might find these sites to be helpful, also. www.medicalmuseums.org/

I know there's a dental museum, although I haven't visited it, and I don't know its location.
This is what you are looking for: http://www.wellcomecollection.org/ It's very near the British Library and St Pancras station where the Chunnel train operates out of.
This is awesome. What seems to be an obscure question brings lots of concrete responses (and makes one realize that perhaps the interest is not so arcane).
