We will be exploring the Norwegian fjords in late June. I have a lovely wool Norwegian sweater which I don't wear in the States because it makes me look like an old lady. Would it be appropriate to break it out for our adventures in Norway? Too warm? Too dowdy? Just right?

Sweaters in Norway is like crude oil in Saudi Arabia...in other words they're everywhere:) You'll fit right in.

... but probably not in June. I had one of those wonderful sweaters, and it was the single best piece of winter clothing I ever owned. But I couldn't imagine wearing one of those things in temperatures above freezing.
