my 15 year old daughter and I are doing a ten day trip to either spain or the norwegian fjords. What are your favorite and least favorite things about these places? To those of you who have been to both: which would be better for a middle aged woman and her daughter? Thanks!

Well, I've never been to Spain, Norway, or Oklahoma. But I am a middle aged woman who has traveled with a 15 yr old daughter. I think on a trip to Norway, esp if a cruise into the fjords is involved, you might have too much togetherness. Sorry, but no teen wants to spend every minute with mom, or a bunch of other old people. But I think in Spain, she could walk around alone some and feel cool and independent. Sit at a cafe. My teen did a little of that in Paris, and just a little was enough for her. There might be less non-fjord stuff in Norway that would hold her interest.
