We will be in Norway mid-October and would like to do the Norway in a Nutshell tour. Does the boat go between Flam and Gudvangen at that time of the year? Thanks!

The boat may have inside area to protect people from the wet and cold !! but it can be impossible to claim any part of the inside. My sister, cousin and I went in August and it was very wet and cold!! The tour grroups boarded first and the Chinese tour group occupied every seat in the boat! Hopefully, things will be less hectic and more democratic later on!

We just back from our trip and the boat ride to Gudvangen was great! Since it was the off-season, we didn't have the crowds to fight and were able to get a great seat inside.
