Two couples are planning our "nutshell" trip over two days in late August round trip from Oslo and would like suggestions on the best ways to book the rail and boat parts of the trip. We have hotel reservations in Flam for one night. Is it easy to change the departure times on the train? Any suggestions or information would be greatly appreciated.

Use this website to book all segments of the Nutshell: http://www.norwaynutshell.com/. The Oslo-Bergen train which you carries you on the first/last segment of the trip requires seat reservations. The train often sells-out so it would be difficult to change departure times.
