We planning on going to Stavenger / Preikestolen / Kjerig, and then go to Bergen and fly north to Lofoten / Trollfjorden, and take the Hurtigruten south for a couple of days. We currently plan on leaving Oslo and doing the Nutshell before heading on to Bergen (and from there take the ferry to Stavenger). I'm thinking though that it might make more sense to go south from Oslo directly to Stavenger (rather than across to Bergen and then south to Stavenger), do the above, and then and simply do the Nutshell portion from Bergen to Voss and back. Are we missing much by not going from Oslo to Myrdal? (To complicate matters further, there seems to be no rail service between Oslo and Honefoss this summer-- buses will used instead). Thanks,
