I am planning a trip to Norway next June and want to experience the fjords. All the package trips appear to include train and tram to Flam and an overnight near there. I want to spend the night in Balestrand. The problem is that all the packages have a boat to Bergen in the late afternoon, calling most of the day "at liesure" which seems to me a big waste of time. Does anyone know if one can go from Balestrand to Bergen after breakfast so as not to waste the day? Thanks. David
