We plan to drive from Oslo to Bergen in July. Any suggestions for route; hotels; sights to see/skip? Any assistance appreciated.

If you're not already familiar with it, you might check www.viamichelin.com for driving directions, alternative sightseeing routes, etc.
Most people say their driving time estimates are a little low, but their directions are very accurate.
