Looking for suggestions on things to do with our 15 year old son, who is a very reluctant traveler to Norway. We are taking our daughter to school in Hedmark (semester abroad for her). We will in Bergen, Oslo and Hedmark and the surrounding areas. Thank you! - Julie O
Julie, I cannot imagine a 15 year old boy not liking the Viking Ship Museum. Have him watch movies or read books about some of the greatest raider/warriors ever. He should also like the hiking, biking, fishing, etc that the countryside offers. If he is a technology buff have him look into the origins of bluetooth wireless computer accessories. Might peek his interest. Good luck.

Thanks Nate!
Holmenkollen in Oslo. The jump ramp should impress him and there is a simulator which will let him experience the jump as well as a downhill race. It was awesome.
There is a silver mine a little ways out from Oslo. They take you down (2 miles) in the original mining train and give you a tour of the mine. Very interesting.
There is also a cobalt mine nearby- but I haven't gotten there yet.
Great suggestions, things we would not have known!
