Northern Ireland

I'm planning a trip to NI in May. I had considered a B&B just north of Belfast for three nights to see the city and the surrounding countryside. Then I planned to move on to Ballycastle for three nights, as a base to see the Antrim coast, Giant's Causeway, etc. As I have been studying the area, I am now thinking that I don't need that many nights in the area since it appears to be quite small. I also planned two nights on the road getting back to Dublin. Any thoughts? Thanks

Getting back to Dublin from where? From Belfast, it's only a 90 minute drive. Whether or not you spend a night or two on the way there will depend on what else you intend to do in the area. You can use www.viamichelin.com to see the drive times between one location and another. Add about 25% to the estimated time to get a truer picture of the actual time.

I would think two days would be plenty to see the sights around the Antrim Coast. I did, and I even included the Busmill's Distillery.
