Does anyone know of a way to go from Lom in the Jotunheiman Mountain Region to the Songefjord region via public bus? I am trying to work out my Norway trip next year and will have a rail pass as I do not want to rent a car. From Oslo, I was planning to go North to Lillehamer/Lom area and back to Oslo before doing another trip to do the Norway in a Nutshell journey. To try and eliminate having to double back, I though I could take a bus over to the Fjord from Lom and then pick up the nutshell route from there via boat and then back to the trains to Bergen and/or Oslo. Anyone who has done it or knows how to do it, please let me know. Thanks!!
