Noma Restaurant Copenhagen

I know it is expensive but my husband would love to go to lunch there during our 1 day there from the cruise ship. Has anyone eaten there?? If so is it worth it? I read on a few of the sites that for 2 people it could be as high as $400.I would appreciate anyone who has eaten there to verify that it is indeed around that price range. It will take some consideration for sure.

Shelley, They have the prices on their website. The website lists 1600 DKK for the meal which is nearly $300. Wine pairing is another 1000 DKK. Just go to the food and wine page and scroll down. Noma I haven't eaten there ... would love to try it but it is well beyond my budget. It was just recently featured on the Anthony Bourdain show, "Parts Unknown".

Thanks Laura
I did go to the website and was unsure if this was for 2 people or just one person. If for 1 I guess hubby will have to look to some other restaurant or better yet the market place.

I tried to get a reservation, but it was booked when I visited Copenhagen. I recall that the menu price was something like €220 per person, plus another €100 or so if you took their house wine, and potentially far more if you ordered a wine off the list. If you can't get a reservation or if you find Noma's prices too high, check the Michelin guide for alternatives. One of the spill-over effects of having a restaurant like Noma in town is that all types of competitors popped up, and it generally raised the bar amongst the fine dining establishments.

At around 540€/couple, you'd have thought the restaurant would at least be rated within the top 15 (TripAdvisor).
