Hello, I bought a France Pass for a journey this spring, and I have had to make reservations for any rail trip that is either TGV or night trip. I will also spend a few days in Great Britain, and have purchased a Britrail Pass. Is it also necessary to make reservations for a night train with this pass, or will I be able to just show up near the time of departure?

Annon, I believe reservations are required, but it would help to know which night trains you're considering? Most trips in the U.K. are of shorter duration, so night trains are often not the best method. Happy travels!

A belated thank you for both replies! Actually, both night trains are on my itinerary and I will be sure to make the necessary reservations/pay the extra fees.
