I lived in Edinburgh for 6 months from 2007 to 2008. I am going back in about a month and I want to see something different. Does anyone know of any "backdoor" sights or anything that is very interesting that is a must see. I have seen all of the "regular" tourist sights.

I hope that you can some posters, but I think you might want to pose this question on Tripadvisor. I've been to Edinburgh so many times that I'm about at the stage that you're at. The one thing that you might want to try is one of the Rebus tours. I think that they are still operating. From the description I read, they visit spot form Ian Rankin's books. And, I've alway thought, that aside from Fleshmarket Close most of the locations in his book are not on the tourist trail. ; ) Pam
