we will be arriving into Oslo the end of August, but my dates arent firm yet, from RS book, it looks like we need to book the NIN trains 1 week in advance, but I won't know until a day or 2 before I book, does anyone know if the end of August will need a week notice? I'm kind of confused, does this sound like a good plan? lv Olso, stay 1 night Flam, 1 night Balastrand, then 1 night Bergen, then from there take a night train to Denmark? I don't have a good map yet, so any advise would be appreciated, thx so much in advance!

I was considering going back to Oslo, and taking that cruise from there to Denmark, with the sauna and the smorgabord, it sounds kind of fun, but maybe we should just fly...

Fly. SAS and norwegian.com have excellent one-way fares out of Bergen.
